About
Welcome to the vibrant and unique culinary haven known as Newtren & Seblak Brutal Prasmanan, nestled in the heart of Palangka Raya at Jl. Jenderal Urip Sumoharjo No.01. One of the highlights of the menu is undoubtedly their Bibbimbap. It's a dish that speaks to the heart of Korean culinary tradition. Customers such as Yessi Triseptari have praised it, noting the challenge of finding authentic Korean flavors in this small city. However, Newtren offers a taste that's both familiar and refreshingly localized, making it enjoyable for both Korean food enthusiasts and those new to the cuisine.
The menu doesn't stop there. Popular items like Odeng, Topokki, and the spicy Samyang ramen cater to a spectrum of tastes, ensuring that there’s something delectable for everyone. These dishes have received positive feedback from patrons, including Andrew Andrew, who appreciates the balance between Korean authenticity and Indonesian flavor profiles. “ Korean food for Indonesian taste I love Korean Spicy Chicken and the Bbibimbap ”
“ Really love the menus, but the venue concept still unclear between its korean or the western.. ”
“ Nice place to eat with family. Cozy. Floor has a nice music and many table/card games. Food was great, because korean food kind of rare in palangka ”
“ I love their Bibbimbap.. I am Korean food lovers. But its hard to find korean taste in Palangka Raya. Because Palangka Raya is small city. But first time I've tried the food it was good. For Odeng I highly recommended it. ”
“ the best korean food and taste yippi there are topokki, ramen, odeng, samyang, and others ”
“ Indonesia’s style of Korean delicacy , they serve mostly popular Korean street foods from Oden , kimbap to bibimbap. Taste was ok for Frozen food based Korean cuisine, it would be better to add sesame oil and pan sheared sesame to make it close to Korean authenticity. But for small city like Palangkaraya this place is an options for eating, the price is very affordable and they offer many food stalls from Bakso (meatballs) to Nasi bakar and off course Indonesian most popular snacks “seblak” (boiled crackers with spicy broth). The staff are so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere like a food court based on the side streets. ”
“ So grateful that Palangka Raya finally can have a Korean restaurant like this. You can bring your family or friends to have lunch and dinner here. The food is good enough, even not as good as the real Korean food. Again, all the ingredients are based on Indonesian taste. So that's totally fine! The prices aren't expensive, but not cheap as well. So prepare yourself with some money before you come here! Recommended for anyone who wants to try Korean food for the first time. ”
